Okay, so who is tired of the dry, hot weather? I know I am. How about wearing a brown fur coat in this weather? I love the sprinkler system and I know the garden does also. We have the been busy keeping the water hose and sprinkler shelves stocked so that you can keep your gardens watered. Speaking of gardens; though the harvest isn't as big for most people as they had hoped, things do seem to be riping well with cucumbers coming on for the pickles and tomatoes quick behind. We have a full selection of Mrs Wages seasonings as well as all the crocks, jars and other supplies you may need.
Also, don't forget the famous Shiloh Ox Roast coming up July 27th & 28th. The Planktown Hardware gang will be working the sandwich tent on Saturday from 2-4pm so come on down for a sandwich and say hi. I have a hard time wrapping the sandwiches (plus they don't trust me with all the beef for some reason) so I will be manning the store but the gang will bring me home a sandwich I'm sure and I'll head into down for the parade later in the evening. Can't let a summer go by without seeing the big event.
